Associate Dean Courtney Selby to Present at the Legal Writing Institute 1-Day Workshop
Courtney Selby will present at the Legal Writing Institute One-Day Workshop on December 2 at Brooklyn Law School. Her presentation will address how, given current calls for a more integrated approach to doctrinal and skills-based legal education, legal research and writing instructors have an opportunity to develop unique new partnerships with faculty members teaching doctrinal courses. Based on the lecture/lab instructional model prevalent in the hard sciences, Selby asserts that faculty members can work collaboratively in order to develop independent research courses designed to complement theory-based instruction with the practical aspects of research methods and process.
