Con Law Scholars Hold SCOTUS Panel

On October 2, Hofstra’s Constitutional Law professors presented a program entitled “The United States Supreme Court at a Turning Point? A Panel Discussion.” Presenters discussed important cases from the previous and current terms of the United States Supreme Court, and explored how these cases and the upcoming presidential election would be likely to affect the Court’s composition, the outcome of future decisions and theories of constitutional interpretation. Participants included Professors Robin Charlow, Leon Friedman and Julian Ku. Professor Eric Lane served as moderator. The program may be viewed on Hofstra Law’s new webchannel law.hofstra.edu/webcast.
