Prof. Ronald Colombo to Speak on Panel

Ronald J. Colombo, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor of Law

Associate Professor of Law Ronald J. Colombo will be a panel participant at a town hall-style meeting entitled “Implications and Consequences of the Alleged Fraud of Bernard Madoff” on Wednesday, January 21, 2009.

Professor Colombo’s remarks are entitled “How Did This Happen and Who Is at Fault?” The purpose of the meeting is to enable taxpayers and CEOs, CFOs and controllers of both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations to voice their concerns and ask questions regarding the Madoff matter.

The meeting will be held at the Jumeirah Essex House in Manhattan, and is sponsored by the accounting firm Holtz Rubenstein Reminick. (For additional information, or to register to attend the panel, go to www.hrrllp.com.)
