Professor Hillary Burgess Presents for Hofstra’s Center for Teaching and Scholarly Excellence Seminar Series

As part of the Hofstra Center for Teaching and Scholarly Excellence Seminar Series for High School Students, Professor Hillary Burgesspresented “How High School, College, and Graduate Students Learn: An Introduction to Learning Theory and Study Styles” at Herricks High School.

The Seminar Series is designed to serve the needs of local school districts, enhance the reputation of Hofstra within the community, and attract high quality students to Hofstra. Students overwhelmingly responded very positively to Professor Burgess’ talk, indicating that her workshop helped them understand how to study better and more efficiently.
