Prof. Norman Silber Presents ‘Federalizing Fremont and Transforming the Regulation of Consumer Finance’

Professor Norman I. Silber delivered a presentation titled “Federalizing Fremont and Transforming the Regulation of Consumer Finance,” at a session at the Annual Conference of the American Council on Consumer Interests, held at the Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank on April 15, 2010.

Also, Professor Silber’s paper, “Debts, Disasters, and Delinquencies: The Case for a Mandatory Force Majeure Provision in Consumer Credit Agreements, and for a Consumer Credit Insurance Fund”, was recently listed on SSRN’s Top Ten download list for SIRN Subject Matter eJournals and Social Insurance Research Network.
