Prof. James Sample Quoted in Associated Press Article

The Associated Press, in a story running on sites and in papers across New York state, quotes Professor James Sample, on the controversial selection process for state court trial court judges. The article is entitled NY Critics Says Judge Selection Still Flawed.

Yes,” said Hofstra Law School Professor James Sample. “That’s a disservice to candidates who don’t have the opportunity to compete merely because they don’t have party boss connections” but that there is “very little momentum if any to change the process legislatively because the foxes are guarding the henhouse.”
