Laurel Harris Selected as ACB Distinguished Law Student

Hofstra Law student Laurel D. Harris 3L has been selected as the American College of Bankruptcy’s Distinguished Law Student for the Second Circuit for 2011. Because of her outstanding academic credentials and interest in bankruptcy law, Harris was selected by her circuit council after a rigorous nomination process. Only one student was selected from each circuit.

On March 18 and 19, Harris will join the selected students from the First, Third, Fourth, Ninth and Eleventh Circuits at the college’s annual induction ceremony at the U.S. Supreme Court Great Hall in Washington, D.C.

The American College of Bankruptcy is an honorary professional and educational association of bankruptcy and insolvency professionals.
