Live from Tunisia: U.S. Ambassador Gordon Gray Participated in Videoconference at Hofstra Law

Gordon Gray, the U.S. Ambassador to Tunisia, and representatives from the African Development Bank ( AfDB ) participated in a videoconference with Hofstra Law students and members of the Long Island business community earlier this morning in room 206.

This event, titled “Live from Tunisia: The Heart of Change on Northern Africa & the Middle East,” provided approximately 50 attendees with a unique opportunity to interact live with U.S. diplomats currently oversees.  Ambassador Gray and representatives from AfDB discussed their perspectives on the changing economic and political landscape in Tunisia and the surrounding region, as well as current AfDB projects and business opportunities for U.S. firms in Africa.

This event was held as part of a joint venture between the U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Department of Commerce and Hofstra Law School’s Office of Global Initiatives and Multicultural Affairs.
