Housing Discrimination Case Proceeds Against L.I. Village

Over time there have been between 40 and 50 students working on the case, said Professor Stefan H. Krieger, who heads the clinic. He added that he has received nearly 10 calls or e-mails from former students since Judge Hurley ruled.

“They feel like they have a certain stake in the case because of the time they spent, because of the relationships with the clients,” he said. “I was really impressed that here’s a judge who spent the time really trying to digest the evidence.”
