Prof. Barbara Stark Publishes Two Articles

Barbara Stark, Professor of Law and Hofstra Research Fellow, Associate Dean for Intellectual Life

Barbara Stark’s recent article “The Women’s Convention, Reproductive Rights, and the Reproduction of Gender” has been published  in the  Spring 2011 issue of the Duke Journal of Gender Law & Policy as part of “The Changing Face of Families” Symposium. The citation is 18 Duke Journal of Gender Law & Policy 261 (2011).

In addition, Stark’s “Introduction: A Celebration of Virginia Leary” has been published in the 104 ASIL Proceedings 3 (2011). This introduced a panel at the ASIL Annual Meeting  on “New Thinking in Social and Economic Rights” featuring Philip Alston (NYU), Andrew Clapham (Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva) and Mona Rishmawi (Legal Adviser, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights).
