On October 21, 2011, Professors Robin Charlow and Alafair Burke participated in the “Batson at Twenty-Five : Perspectives on the Landmark, Reflections on its Legacy” symposium held at the University of Iowa College of Law.

Professor Charlow’s topic was “Batson ‘Blame’ and Its Implications for Equal Protection Analysis,” while Professor Burke spoke about “Prosecutors and Peremptories.”
