Professor Alafair Burke, who has written extensively about prosecutorial decision making, has been invited by the New York City Bar to moderate “New Proposals to Regulate Brady Disclosure: A Panel Discussion.” The panelists are Daniel R. Alonso, Chief Assistant District Attorney of New York County; Anthony J. Girese, Counsel to Bronx District Attorney Robert T. Johnson;Elkan Abramowitz, Principal, Morvillo, Abramowitz, Grand, Iason, Anello & Bohrer, P.C.; and Claudia Trupp, Director, Justice First, Center for Appellate Litigation. The discussion will take place Wednesday, April 18, 2012, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at 42 West 44th St. in Manhattan.
