Prof. Susan Joffe Presents at Legal Writing Institute Conference
Susan Joffe presented at the 15th Biennial Conference of the Legal Writing Institute, in Palm Desert, California, on Thursday, May 31. Her presentation, “Learning to Listen: Simulating a Client Interview,” focused on incorporating interviewing skills into the Legal Writing class to promote active learning and enhance fact gathering skills.
The Legal Writing Institute (“LWI”) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving legal writing by providing a forum for discussion and scholarship about legal writing, analysis and research. LWI has more than 2,100 members and promotes its activities through publications, workshops and conferences.
