Prof. Susan Fortney Addresses 4th International Legal Ethics Conference

Susan Fortney, Howard Lichtenstein Distinguished Professor of Legal Ethics and Director of the Institute for the Study of Legal Ethics

On July 14, 2012, Susan Saab Fortney, Howard Lichtenstein Distinguished Professor of Legal Ethics, spoke at the Fourth International Legal Ethics Conference in Banff Canada. Her topic was “Empirical Research on the Legal Profession—Where We Are and Should be Going.” In this session, Professor Fortney discussed lessons from various empirical studies she has conducted, challenges that empiricists encounter, and recommendations on taking qualitative and quantitative research to the next level.
