Prof. Frank Gulino Speaks at Symposium Hosted by George Mason University Civil Rights Law Journal

Frank Gulino, Associate Professor of Legal Writing

On October 23, 2012, Professor Frank Gulino was a featured speaker at the Fall Symposium of the George Mason University Civil Rights Law Journal. The symposium, “Legal Issues in the Marriage Debate,” included a panel discussion on the nature of marriage, its purpose, and its legal implications. Speakers and panelists on both sides of the marriage debate also discussed federal litigation efforts involving the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8 in which petitions for certiorari have been filed with the U.S. Supreme Court. Co-sponsored by the American Constitution Society and the Federalist Society, the event took place at George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia.
