Prof. Akilah Folami Presents at Northeast People of Color Conference

Akilah N. Folami, Associate Professor of Law

Professor Akilah N. Folami presented her paper, “Reconsidering Affirmative Action in Broadcast in light of Fisher and Obama, Jay-Z and Trayvon” at the Northeast People of Color Conference held at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts on October 26, 2012. She also commented on a paper titled Making Race Salient: Trayvon Martin, Implicit Racial Bias, and Self-Defense in a Not Yet Post-Racial Society that was written by Professor Cynthia Lee of George Washington University Law School.
