Prof. Alafair Burke Provides National Training for Federal Prosecutors

The Department of Justice’s National Advocacy Center has selected Professor Alafair Burke to provide training for all Assistant U.S. Attorneys.  The training will be part of the center’s focus on educating federal prosecutors on the best systems to effectuate defendants’ right to receive exculpatory evidence under Brady v. Maryland. Professor Burke will be discussing her recent scholarship exploring how cognitive biases might skew prosecutorial decision making.
