Alan N. Resnick, Benjamin Weintraub Distinguished Professor of Bankruptcy Law

Alan N. Resnick, the Benjamin Weintraub Distinguished Professor of Bankruptcy Law, presented a paper at the 39th Annual Lawrence P. King and Charles Seligson Workshop on Bankruptcy & Business Reorganization.

The topic of his paper was “Safe Harbors Designed to Protect Financial Markets by Prohibiting a Bankruptcy Trustee from Avoiding Certain Fraudulent Transfers in Connection with Securities Contracts: Does Implied Federal Preemption Prohibit Creditors From Avoiding Such Transfers Under State Law?”

The workshop took place on September 18-19, 2013, at New York University School of Law.
