Hofstra Law and Bryan Cave LLP Host Intellectual Property Reception
On Wednesday, September 25, more than 50 Hofstra Law alumni and students and guests specializing in intellectual property gathered at the Manhattan office of Bryan Cave LLP for a networking reception.
The event was a joint effort of the Offices of Alumni Relations and Career Services and the Hofstra Intellectual Property Law Association.
Intellectual property law Professor Irina Manta spoke to attendees about Hofstra Law’s curricular offerings, including the Intellectual Property Law Honors Concentration, and the many growing opportunities for students to work in the field.
“This event was a great opportunity for students to learn from our alumni about all of the different ways IP law can be applied to practice,” said Manta. “Students were very appreciative of the alumni who took the time to speak with them one-on-one. I thank Joe Richetti ’98, partner at Bryan Cave LLP, and the firm for hosting such a wonderful event.”
