Prof. Susan Fortney Publishes Article on Australian Approach to Management-Based Regulation of Law Firms

Susan Fortney, Howard Lichtenstein Distinguished Professor of Legal Ethics and Director of the Institute for the Study of Legal Ethics

Susan Fortney, the Howard Lichtenstein Distinguished Professor of Legal Ethics, published an article in a University of St. Thomas Law Journal symposium issue on empirical research on the legal profession.

The article, titled “Adopting Law Firm Management Systems to Survive and Thrive: A Study of the Australian Approach to Management-Based Regulation of Law Firms,” is based on phase one of Professor Fortney’s empirical study on management-based regulation of incorporated law practices. The article appears in 10 University of St. Thomas Law Journal 152 (2012).
