The Maurice A. Deane School of Law has named Seth Nadel 2L the recipient of the 2014 Certilman Balin Honors Partnership.
The Honors Partnership is a collaboration between Hofstra Law and the law firm Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP to create special educational, mentorship and job opportunities for second-year students at Hofstra Law.
Certilman Balin provides the recipient of the Honors Partnership with a scholarship and a summer associate position with the firm.
“To say that the Honors Partnership is a tremendous opportunity for me would be an understatement,” said Nadel. “Certilman Balin took the time to evaluate not just my academic merit, but the quality of my character and life experiences in coming to their decision, which is both laudable and rare among law firms. I have every intention of proving that their confidence in me is well placed and I am, naturally, very grateful.”
Recipients of the Certilman Balin Honors Partnership have an outstanding academic record of achievement; reside in Nassau, Suffolk or Queens counties; have an interest in working on Long Island after law school; and demonstrate active community involvement.
