Professor Alafair S. Burke, the author of 10 crime novels, was interviewed by Lee Rawles for the ABA Journal’s The Modern Law Library podcast series on July 28, 2014.

In the podcast, “Growing up during BTK serial-killing spree informed author’s new crime novel,” Professor Burke talks about her most recent book, All Day and a Night, the fifth featuring Ellie Hatcher, a New York City police detective.

Professor Burke also discusses her work as a writer, Hofstra Law professor and former deputy district attorney in Portland, Oregon, and offers a peek into her upcoming book project with “one of the original titans of crime fiction, Mary Higgins Clark.”
