Prof. Scott Glick’s Article on Consequence, 4th Amendment Analysis Makes SSRN’s Top 10 Lists

Scott J. Glick '81, Director of the Hofstra Law in D.C. Externship Program and Visiting Assistant Professor of Law

An article by Professor Scott J. Glick ’81, “Consequence, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and the Fourth Amendment’s ‘No-Win’ Scenario,”  recently made the SSRN Top Ten download lists for Criminal Procedure and for the Role of Legislators.

The article, which will be published as the lead article in Volume 90 of the Indiana Law Journal, explores the issue of whether consequence — that is, the nature and gravity of the harm the government seeks to prevent — should ever play an outcome-determinative role in a Fourth Amendment analysis.
