Prof. Linda Galler’s Essay on Becoming a Tax Lawyer Makes 2 SSRN Top 10 Download Lists
Professor Linda Galler’s essay “Why Do Law Students Want to Become Tax Lawyers?” 68 Tax Law. 305 (2015) was recently listed on SSRN’s Top 10 download lists for Tax Law: Practitioner Series eJournal and and Labor: Human Capital eJournal.
Professor Galler was invited to contribute this essay to a compendium of papers commemorating the 75th anniversary of the American Bar Association Section of Taxation.
In the Foreword, the editor writes:
“The next paper addresses the topic of why law students decide to become tax lawyers. It was written by Linda Galler, a tax professor at Hofstra University School of Law and a long-time member of the Section. Professor Galler has had a lot of experience and success over the years in convincing students to enter the practice of tax law.
