Prof. Andrew Schepard Speaks on Adapting Mediation and Arbitration to Divorce and Parenting Disputes

Andrew Schepard, Max Schmertz Distinguished Professor of Law and Director of the Center for Children, Families and the Law

Andrew Schepard, the senior associate dean for academic affairs and Max Schmertz Distinguished Professor of Law, on Feb. 24, 2016, served on the panel “Med-Arb: Getting Past the Impasse.”

The focus of the panel was how the dispute resolution process which combines mediation and arbitration can be adapted to divorce and parenting disputes.

The event, which was sponsored by the Westchester Women’s Bar Association, the Westchester Black Bar Association, the Westchester County Bar Association and the White Plains Bar Association, was held at the Sterling National Bank Building in Yonkers.
