Prof. Michael Haber Speaks on Private Foundations

Michael Haber, Associate Clinical Professor of Law and Attorney-in-Charge, Community and Economic Development Clinic

Professor Michael Haber presented the talk “Old Money in the Next System: Transforming Private Foundations” at CUNY’s Murphy Institute for Worker Education and Labor Studies on March 12, 2016.

The talk was part of a national series of “Teach-Ins” sponsored by the Democracy Collaborative, a nonprofit organization that sponsors primary research, policy analysis, and policy development on community economic development.

Prof. Haber’s talk focused on mission-related investing and the development of an external scoring system for private foundations.
