Prof. Elizabeth Nevins Cited in Report by NYS Office of Indigent Legal Services

Testimony given in August 2015 by Professor Elizabeth M. Nevins to the New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services is cited several times in the office’s final report on “Criteria and Procedures for Determining Assigned Counsel Eligibility.”

The report, which was issued on April 4, 2016, was “submitted by the New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services in accordance with Section VI of the Hurrell-Harring v. The State of New York Stipulation and Order of Settlement and Executive Law § 832(3)(c).”
