Prof. Barbara Barron Directs and Teaches Public-Speaking Course for New York Lawyers for the Public Interest

Professor Barbara S. Barron on May 5, 2016, served as program director and teacher of a public-speaking course for New York Lawyers for the Public Interest (NYPLI). The course was co-taught by members of Power Plays, Inc.

The goal of the daylong course, which Professor Barron designed, was to help improve the presentation skills for NYLPI attorneys, community organizers, social workers and development people.

All participants worked on substantive aspects of presentations they were slated in terms of persuasion, structure and word choice. They also learned acting techniques to improve their presentation delivery.
