Alumnus Patrick Paschall ’10 Discusses Merger of FreeState Legal and Equality Maryland on Comcast Newsmakers

Hofstra Law alumnus Patrick Paschall ’10 recently appeared on Comcast Newsmakers — a short-form local news program on which local, state and federal officials and community leaders share their thoughts on current events and issues — to discuss the merger of FreeState Legal and Equality Maryland this past January.

Paschall, the executive director of FreeState Justice (the name of the organization as of June 30), also explained FreeState Justice’s legal services and policy advocacy work on behalf of members of Maryland’s LGBTQ community.

The interview took place on June 17, 2016, and was made available on the Comcast Newsmakers website on June 21.
