Prof. Fred Klein Comments in Newsday Story on the Case of Serial Killer Joel Rifkin

The most prolific serial killer in New York State history, Joel Rifkin, was arrested 25 years ago on June 28, 1993. In the June 27 story “25 Years After Joel Rifkin’s Arrest, Key Players Look Back at the Case,” Newsday talked with a former lieutenant for the New York State Police and attorneys, including Professor Fred Klein, the major offense prosecutor on call when Rifkin was arrested, about how the case unfolded 25 years ago.

The report includes a video in which Professor Klein and the other key law enforcement officials, as well as the defense attorney, share their recollections of the case.
