Prof. Julian Ku Ranks Among the 20 Most-Cited Originalist Scholars in the US

Julian Ku, Maurice A. Deane Distinguished Professor of Constitutional Law, Faculty Director of International Programs

Julian Ku, the Maurice A. Deane Distinguished Professor of Constitutional Law, is ranked No. 19 among the most-cited originalist-oriented scholars in the United States for the years 2013-2017 inclusive. The ranking is published in an Aug. 22 post on The Originalism Blog, the blog of the Center for the Study of Constitutional Originalism at the University of San Diego School of Law.

The ranking was calculated by USD School of Law professor Michael Ramsey using the methodology — based on the “Scholarly Impact Score” developed by Brian Leiter — used by Gregory Sisk and colleagues at the University of St. Thomas School of Law in their 2018 ranking of the scholarly impact of law faculties.
