Prof. Julian Ku Offers His Take on Kim-Moon Summit for Arirang News

Julian Ku, Maurice A. Deane Distinguished Professor of Constitutional Law, Faculty Director of International Programs

Julian Ku, the Maurice A. Deane Distinguished Professor of Constitutional Law, was featured on the YouTube channel of Arirang News, Korea’s largest English-speaking television broadcaster, offering his assessment of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s three-day summit with South Korean President Moon Jae-in in Pyongyang, North Korea, on Sept. 18-20.

In his Skype interview, Professor Ku explained, “I think the United States and the international community, but specifically the United States, is looking for something written down on paper that’s specific. It doesn’t have to be a super-detailed timeline of everything that’s going to happen, but … ideally some sort of timeline, a date, a target date — anything specific.”
