Prof. Linda Galler Speaks on Ethical Issues in Tax Practice at 2018 Philadelphia Tax Conference

Linda Galler, Professor of Law

Professor Linda Galler will be a featured panelist on Oct. 29 at the 29th Annual Philadelphia Tax Conference.

The conference is co-sponsored by the American Bar Association Section of Taxation and the Philadelphia Tax Conference, a nonprofit organization established to foster education and to heighten awareness of fair and appropriate tax policy.

Professor Galler’s panel will address ethical considerations in taking tax positions and giving tax advice in an age of uncertainty, where:

• the law is unclear;
• the statutory language and legislative history are contradictory; and/or
• interpretive guidance is not forthcoming.
