As a former performing artist, I was very drawn to the creative content and creative lawyering found within the intellectual property field. Knowing how challenging a career in IP can be, I was thrilled to receive a summer position with an international firm of such high regard. With additional offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, the Washington, D.C., area, London, and Munich, Ladas & Parry represents owners of IP rights at every stage of development.

As an extern, I had the opportunity to further my understanding of trademark, copyright, patent and international law. I drafted responses to the Copyright Office, performed research on complex IP issues and participated in client conferences. It was a privilege to work for a firm that has a respected history in managing high-profile, global IP portfolios. I enjoyed working with esteemed attorneys with varied practice areas, including copyrights, designs, digital brands/domain names, entertainment, European litigation, licensing, patents, privacy law, trademarks, trade secrets, transactions, and U.S. litigation.

My experience with Ladas & Parry was a pivotal moment in my legal career, and I am very grateful to my mentors who helped me receive and excel in that placement.
